The Menu

Micro Wedding $1800 +

I don’t think there is any happier moment than looking around a long table filled with the people I love most. This is the beauty of the micro wedding. Whether it’s an elopement, a courthouse union, or a dinner party, this is the perfect option for your intimate and deeply personal wedding of 30 people or less.

New England / East Coast $4400+

From the Boston Library to the Rainbow Room at 30 Rock to the far outreaching edges of Maine’s rocky coast, my wedding couples cover a lot of ground in the Mid-Atlantic and New England regions of the country.

Midwest-ish Wedding $2800 +

Whether you plan on celebrating in a ballroom or grandma’s farm, this is the perfect selection for those larger Midwestern gatherings filled with all the people who used to pinch your cheeks when you were young. This includes Denver, KC, Des Moines, Omaha, St. Louis, Minneapolis, and Chicago.

International $5200+

From Sweden to Northern Ireland to Canada and Cartagena, I have told wedding stories all over the world for the last fifteen years. Because of the unique nature of these events and the multiple-day travel commitment, a custom quote will be provided.

Don’t know if you can make it work?

I am a firm believer in things working out for a reason. If you connect to my images and want to see if we can make it work, please reach out!

California + PNW $4200+

It doesn’t really matter if you find yourself in the redwoods or on the edge of the Pacific, if you get married at grandma’s farm or an elaborate vineyard in Napa. This package is for those weddings covering the California and Pacific Northwest.

Elopements $1000+

Sometimes, the most true thing you can do is to skip the pomp and circumstance of all things typical wedding day, and say your “I do’s” in a more intimate setting. These weddings are reserved for 10 attendees or less and encompass the most intimate celebrations.

 FAQs

  • As a memoir photographer, I seek to tell the truth about moments lived once and only once. I want you to hold an image in your hands and for it to feel like it felt. I want each photograph to remind you of the way the light fell, the smell in the room, the thump of your heart beating in your chest. I want my presence to be as delightfully non-invasive as possible. Even though I am photographer, I don’t think weddings have anything to do with wedding photographs. Don’t get me wrong, I believe in the power of an image more than just about anything, but you will still marry your soul mate no matter what the photos look like.

    I am not the point.

    You are the point.

Your connection to your partner is the point. The people you love and belong to are the point. Where you come from and where you are going is the point. I simply show up as a witness to help you be present and live fully into those moments. Most of the time that means encouraging you to ignore me and be where your feet are. Any direction I lend will always bring you back to the act of being present. That, after all, is the secret to the very best photographs.

  • I have been a full time photographer for over fifteen years. In that amount of time I have photographed hundreds of weddings all over the world, taught at dozens of workshops and conferences and been named one of the Top Ten Wedding Photographers in the World.

  • One of my favorite pictures on my wall is a posed photograph of my grandmother and her seven sisters along with their parents and their partners. When I look at a strong posed family portrait, I see a legacy unfolding. Because of this, I believe in the documentary power of a good posed family portrait where everyone is facing the camera and the history of a family or group is captured. I also believe this should be the easiest and fastest portion of the day and that no one should miss out on dinner or time with loved ones for photographs, so all posed gatherings are quick and painless, usually lasting no longer than 15 minutes.

  • I think the time you spend with just your partner on your wedding day can be some of the best, most restorative time. Because each couple is different, your needs are different. My job is to guide you toward what you value. For me, “portrait time” doesn’t exist. Connection exists. Time to laugh and catch up and catch your breath exists. Any portraits we make will be in the backdrop of your personalities and your comfort level. But, again, these photos do not take long.

  • While I have priced my packages to be accessible and to fit the budgets of most couples, I understand that sometimes there are extenuating circumstances (like a weekday wedding or a shorter event) where price may need to fluctuate. Bottom line, if you resonate with the work, contact me and I will do all I can to work with you.

  • For a retainer, half of the package price is required for booking and, along with a contract, reserves me as your photographer. The remaining balance is due one month before your wedding.

  • Typically for an eight hour wedding, I will deliver anywhere from 600 to 1400 edited, high resolution images. It all depends on the specifics of the day as well as how large the wedding is.

  • After fifteen years in the industry, I have taught hundreds of wedding photographers at workshops and conferences. Because of this, I have a massive network of talented photographers that I happily refer work to when I am booked. So my hope is you will be taken care of no matter what.
